It plugs directly into Rockwell CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 LRP rack,compatible with 1769 backplane.

It enables CompactLogix to connect FL-net peer-to-peer factory automation network and communicate with Japanese FA PLC supporting FL-net protocol.
