MVI56E-GSC/GSCXT belongs to ProSoft MVI56E enhanced series module.It plugs directly into Rockwell ControlLogix 1756 rack,GSCXT version supports Logix-XT extreme environment platform,compatible with ControlLogix PAC controllers,suitable for connecting various ASCII serial devices,industrial system renovation and spare replacement.

Function

It provides two independent configurable ASCII serial ports,each port supports send/receive up to 4096 bytes string data.It can connect barcode readers,weighing scales,printers and custom serial instruments.Data mapped to ControlLogix controller memory via backplane,supports up to 5000 16-bit user registers.GSCXT adopts conformal coating for harsh industrial environments.

Installation

Insert module into ControlLogix chassis backplane,set serial interface mode via jumpers,wire RS232/422/485 serial bus,configure serial parameters and data mapping via ProSoft Configuration Builder,import AOI into Studio5000,download project through RSLinx,check LED indicators after power-up.
