ILX69-PBS belongs to ProSoft 1769 series module.It plugs into Rockwell CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1769 chassis,enables Logix controller to work as PROFIBUS DP slave device,suitable for connecting CompactLogix system to existing PROFIBUS DP master networks in factory automation renovation.

Function

It acts as PROFIBUS DP V1 slave,supports cyclic I/O data exchange and acyclic DPV1 messaging,max 244 bytes input and 244 bytes output cyclic data,acyclic read/write up to 240 bytes. PROFIBUS master can directly exchange I/O data with CompactLogix controller via backplane I/O mapping.

Installation

Insert module into 1769 CompactLogix chassis within 2 slots of power supply,wire PROFIBUS RS485 bus,set slave address via rotary switch,configure I/O mapping in Studio 5000 / RSLogix5000,verify LED indicators after power-up.
