MVI56E-MCM/MCMXT belongs to ProSoft MVI56E enhanced series module.It plugs directly into Rockwell ControlLogix 1756 rack,MCMXT version supports Logix-XT extreme environment platform,compatible with ControlLogix PAC controllers.It is backward compatible with MVI56-MCM,suitable for connecting Modbus field instruments,legacy automation system renovation and spare replacement.

Function

Two independent serial ports can be separately configured as Modbus master or slave.It supports complete Modbus function codes,max 10000 user-defined 16-bit registers for data exchange.Data mapped to ControlLogix controller memory via backplane.MCMXT adopts conformal coating for protection against dust and moisture in harsh industrial sites.

Installation

Insert module into ControlLogix chassis backplane,set serial interface mode via jumpers,wire RS232/422/485 serial bus,configure port parameters and register mapping via ProSoft Configuration Builder,import AOI into Studio5000,download project through RSLinx,check LED indicators after power-up.
