Function

It supports Modbus master or slave mode on each of the two independent serial ports. Adopts reduced data block design to lower backplane data load,realizes bidirectional real-time register data mapping between ControlLogix controller and Modbus serial devices. Supports complete Modbus function codes and user-defined register database.

Installation

Insert module into ControlLogix 1756 chassis backplane,wire RS232/485 serial bus,configure port parameters and register mapping via ProSoft Configuration Builder,download AOI add-on instruction in RSLogix5000,check LED indicators after power-up.
