OPTIMATION OP-1510 HMI Operator Terminal

Module Feature

OPTIMATION OP-1510 belongs to OptiMate series operator terminal. Equipped with 2 line × 20 character LCD display, full numeric keypad and menu navigation keys, supports up to four-level menu and submenu function for parameter editing. Features 3 front-panel LED status indicators, RS232/RS422 serial communication interface. Panel cutout mounting design, can read PLC process variables, display alarm messages and modify setpoints. Widely used for semiconductor wet bench and chemical delivery control cabinet.

Working principle: It communicates with PLC or OptiLogic RTU via serial bus. Reads real-time process data and alarms to LCD, receives keypad input commands and parameter modifications, then transmits data back to host controller. Onboard components: 2×20 LCD screen, membrane numeric keypad, menu navigation keys, LED indicator bar, main control PCB, 15-pin D-sub serial communication port, metal front housing

Function

OP-1510 operator terminal manufactured by OPTIMATION. It acts as human-machine interface for wet process control system, supporting multi-level menu operation for parameter change. Membrane keypad aging or communication parameter mismatch may lead to key failure or data loss. It is advanced HMI component for chemical delivery automation cabinet.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Power off control system. Insert unit into cabinet panel cutout and secure mounting clips. Connect 24V DC power and serial communication cable. Download menu project and test communication before production startup.

Diagnostic

Blank LCD screen: Power supply fault or display damage. Key input no response: Membrane keypad wear. No PLC data: Serial communication parameter mismatch or wiring fault. Menu lost: Corrupted configuration project.
