OPTIMATION OL4058 RTU Base Chassis

Module Feature

OPTIMATION OL4058 belongs to OptiLogic series 8-slot remote terminal unit base. It provides 8 hot-pluggable slots for OL series I/O modules, integrated 10BaseT Ethernet communication supporting OptiLogic/UDP and IPX protocols. Built-in backplane bus supplies 2.8A @5V power for inserted I/O cards. DIN rail mounting design, flexible mixing of digital input, relay output and analog modules. Widely deployed for semiconductor wet bench and chemical fluid delivery distributed control systems.

Working principle: The chassis backplane supplies power and high-speed internal bus communication for all inserted I/O modules. It collects field sensor data from I/O cards, packages data and transmits to host controller via Ethernet. It receives host commands and distributes control signals to each I/O point. Function

OL4058 RTU base manufactured by OPTIMATION. It is 8-slot distributed I/O rack to expand field signal points and reduce long-distance wiring. Poor backplane contact or Ethernet wiring failure causes module offline and signal loss. It is core large capacity remote I/O chassis for wet process automation cabinet.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Power off OptiLogic RTU rack. Mount chassis on DIN rail, insert I/O modules into empty slots and lock latches. Wire 8-30VDC power and Ethernet cable. Configure network parameters and test all I/O channels before production startup.

Diagnostic

No Ethernet link:IP address mismatch or cable fault. Module undetected:Poor backplane contact or damaged edge connector. Intermittent signal:Vibration causing loose module seating. Rack power alarm:Overload or loose power wiring.
