OPTIMATION OL2205 Digital Input Module

Module Feature

OPTIMATION OL2205 belongs to OptiLogic series CLEAN FAST high-speed digital input module. It provides 4 opto-isolated input channels supporting 10~30V AC/DC field signals. Built-in high-speed noise cleaning filter to eliminate workshop electrical interference. Each channel has independent signal isolation to prevent ground loop disturbance. Standard OptiLogic form factor, plug directly into OL4054, OL4228, OL4058 OptiLogic RTU rack. Widely used for level sensors, flow switches and safety interlock signal acquisition in semiconductor wet bench and chemical delivery control systems.

Working principle: Field AC/DC discrete signal passes optocoupler isolation circuit. Onboard clean filter removes electrical noise, signal status is transmitted to RTU mainboard through backplane bus. Fast capture circuit ensures quick response for critical safety interlock signals. Function

OL2205 CLEAN FAST digital input module manufactured by OPTIMATION. It collects fast status signals from field sensors and safety interlock switches. Built-in filter suppresses electrical noise in humid chemical cabinets. Damaged optocoupler or loose wiring will cause false triggering or missing field signals. It is high-speed 4-point discrete input component for wet bench automation rack.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Power off OptiLogic RTU rack. Insert module to empty rack slot and lock mounting latches. Wire field sensor cables to removable terminal block. Test all 4 input channels before production startup.

Diagnostic

False input trigger: Electrical noise or ground loop interference. No signal detection: Field cable open or opto element failure. Intermittent signal: Loose terminal screw connection. Module not detected: Poor backplane contact.
