Module Feature

OPTIMATION OL4054 is OptiLogic compact 4-slot Remote Terminal Unit base chassis. It accepts standard pluggable OL series I/O modules, equipped with integrated backplane bus for data and power distribution. Supports 10BaseT Ethernet with OptiLogic/UDP and IPX protocols. DIN rail housing, compact footprint for small control cabinets. Widely used for mini semiconductor wet bench and compact chemical fluid delivery control systems.

Working principle: The internal backplane provides power and high-speed communication bus to all inserted I/O cards. It collects discrete and analog field signals from I/O modules, transmits data to host controller over Ethernet, and executes control commands sent from PLC or operator terminal. Function

OL4054 RTU chassis manufactured by OPTIMATION. It serves as compact remote I/O rack for small scale process control. Poor backplane contact or incorrect network settings will cause module offline and communication loss. It is lightweight distributed I/O base for wet bench automation cabinet.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Power off control cabinet. Mount chassis on DIN rail. Insert I/O modules into available slots and lock latches. Wire DC power and Ethernet cable. Configure network parameters and test all I/O channels before production startup.

Diagnostic

No Ethernet link:IP address mismatch or cable damage. Module not detected:Poor backplane contact or damaged edge connector. Intermittent I/O:Vibration causing loose module seating. Rack power alarm:Power overload or loose wiring.
