Module Feature

115788-416 is a pluggable printed circuit board assembly designed for distributed control system cabinets.

It integrates signal filtering, isolation and conversion circuits to collect 4–20mA analog signals and dry contact digital signals from field transmitters, limit switches and solenoid valves. The isolation design suppresses electromagnetic interference generated by heavy-duty motors and frequency converters on site. It adopts gold finger hot-swap structure, widely used for spare replacement and cabinet retrofitting in chemical, power and metallurgical plants.

Working principle

Field analog and binary signals pass through onboard filtering and isolation circuits.

The conditioned signals are converted into digital data and transmitted to the main controller via backplane bus. The board continuously monitors channel status, and sends fault flags to upper engineering software when open circuit, short circuit or signal deviation is detected.

Signal conditioning chips, isolation modules, backplane gold finger connector, SMD electronic components, onboard LED indicator array.

LED indicators

Onboard LEDs show power supply status, running state and fault alarm.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

The matched DCS controller continuously monitors power supply abnormality, gold finger contact fault and signal channel open/short, and the fault information can be viewed through upper configuration software.

Programming software

Vendor dedicated configuration tool, used for signal channel calibration, alarm threshold setting and fault log review.

Installation

Cut off cabinet power supply before replacement, insert the board into the designated slot and fasten the lock buckle.

Wire field instrument cables according to schematic drawing, verify bus communication and sampling channel after power on.

Interface

Backplane bus gold finger connector, field signal wiring terminal block.

Diagnostic

Board offline: Damaged gold finger or loose locking buckle. Signal reading abnormal: Failed isolation circuit or reversed wiring polarity. No LED light: Missing 24V DC supply.
