Products Description
Goodrich 7A1508-125 Aircraft Slide-Raft Evacuation Unit

Module Feature
7A1508-125 is Goodrich integrated slide‑raft emergency evacuation assembly, designed for Airbus A330 and A340 wide‑body aircraft, right‑hand configuration for Door 1 and Door 4 exit positions. It combines evacuation slide and buoyant life raft into one stowed pack. Once deployed, it can be used as evacuation slide on land emergency, and converts into life raft for water ditching survival. It is subject to FAA / EASA airworthiness directives and Goodrich service bulletins, requires periodic overhaul, pressure relief valve inspection and functional test. It belongs to ITAR‑controlled aviation safety critical component, commonly supplied as overhauled, serviceable aviation spare part.
Working principle
The deployment lanyard links to aircraft door mechanism. When the door opens under emergency condition, the lanyard pulls the inflation valve of high‑pressure gas cylinder. Gas rapidly fills the inflatable fabric structure. On land, it forms a steep evacuation slide for passengers to slide down quickly. In water ditching scenario, it transforms into enclosed buoyant life raft. Built‑in pressure relief valve prevents overpressure damage.
Onboard components
Inflatable fabric bladder assembly, high‑pressure inflation gas cylinder, deployment lanyard and girt assembly, pressure relief safety valve, buoyancy chamber, boarding ramp, stowage protective pack, survival kit storage compartment.
LED indicators
No LED indicators. Inspect inflation cylinder pressure gauge, fabric integrity and expiry marking visually.
Hardware self‑diagnosis
No electronic self‑diagnosis function. Maintenance inspection includes fabric leakage, inflation cylinder pressure, relief valve sealing, deployment lanyard integrity. Must comply with airworthiness directive and service bulletin requirements.
Programming software
No configuration software. Operation and maintenance follow aircraft AMM manual and Goodrich service bulletin.
