Module Feature

Sanyo Denki PY0A050E0XXYPH belongs to SANMOTION PY series high performance digital AC servo amplifier. Three phase AC200V input, rated output current 50A, equipped with built-in dynamic brake. Adopts high speed serial bus communication, supports position, speed, torque three control modes. It has current and speed dual closed-loop control, excellent responsiveness and vibration suppression capability. Integrated multi-protection functions including overcurrent, short circuit, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheat, overload, encoder fault and emergency stop protection. Equipped with cooling fan for forced air cooling, panel mounting design. Widely used for high precision heavy load motion axis in semiconductor wet bench and chemical delivery automation equipment.

Working principle: The upper motion controller transmits motion instructions through high speed serial bus to this servo amplifier. The drive converts three-phase AC input power into variable frequency three-phase AC power to drive matched SANMOTION series servo motors. Real-time encoder position and speed signal feeds back to the amplifier, high-speed closed-loop calculation adjusts output current to realize precise torque, speed and position control. When fault occurs or emergency stop triggered, dynamic brake will activate rapidly to lock motor shaft.

Function

PY0A050E0XXYPH servo amplifier manufactured by Sanyo Denki. It provides high current power drive and closed-loop bus motion control for matched servo motors, built-in dynamic brake for rapid stop. Incorrect encoder wiring, mechanical overload or improper parameter setting will trigger servo alarm and stop movement. It is high performance heavy load motion control driver for semiconductor wet bench and chemical delivery automation equipment.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Power off the whole servo system. Mount servo drive on cabinet panel and ensure sufficient air circulation for fan cooling. Wire three-phase AC power cable, motor power cable and encoder feedback cable. Connect serial communication cable and emergency stop circuit. Configure parameters via SANMOTION software, test dynamic brake function, perform jog test and positioning verification before formal operation.
