OPTIMATION OM1124 Annunciator Panel

Module Feature

OPTIMATION OM1124 belongs to OptiMate series annunciator indicator panel. Equipped with 24 high-brightness LED lamps arranged in 3 rows × 8 points. Each LED supports independent control of on, off and flashing state. Custom printable legend label insert can be installed behind front protective faceplate for alarm text marking. Serial communication supports RS232 / RS422 multi-drop bus, compatible with OP-9001 communication master. Panel cutout mounting design, front panel meets NEMA4 / IP65 protection standard. Widely used for alarm status, equipment running state and fault indication in semiconductor wet bench and chemical delivery control cabinet.

Working principle: OM1124 receives lamp control command from host PLC or OptiLogic RTU via RS422/RS232 serial bus. Each LED channel is controlled separately to display steady or flashing alarm status. The multi-drop bus allows multiple OptiMate panels including OM1124 and OP series operator terminals to share one PLC serial port. Function

OM1124 annunciator panel manufactured by OPTIMATION. It visualizes process alarms and equipment discrete status. Incorrect baud rate or missing bus termination resistor will cause communication failure and all LEDs out of control. It is dedicated alarm indication component for wet bench chemical delivery automation cabinet.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Power off control cabinet. Install panel into cabinet cutout and fasten mounting clamps. Wire 8-30VDC power and shielded RS422 serial cable. Download configuration project via OP-WINEDIT, test all 24 LED lighting and flash function before production startup.

InterfaceSerial D-sub connector, DC power terminal block, 24 alarm LED indicators and power/communication status LED on housing of OM1124.

Diagnostic

No serial communication:Baud rate mismatch, wrong wiring or missing bus termination resistor. All LEDs no action:Power supply out of 8~30VDC range. Single LED no light:Individual LED damage. Intermittent LED flash:Unshielded cable cause electromagnetic noise interference.
