FunctionX670V is high-performance 10G top-of-rack switch. It performs Layer2 switching, VLAN, STP/RSTP, QoS, ACL, IPv4/IPv6 Layer3 routing, VXLAN and data center DCB functions. It supports high-speed stacking and link aggregation. It monitors port link status, transceiver optical power, fan speed, internal temperature and power status. It triggers alarms for port down, link failure, over-temperature or PSU failure. Used to replace defective 10G ToR switches in data center fabric.

InstallationPower off chassis before installation. Mount X670V into 19-inch rack. Install SFP+ transceivers into ports. Insert VIM module for uplink if needed. Connect power, Ethernet/fiber cables and console cable. Configure ExtremeXOS, VLAN and routing policy. Verify port link and network traffic before putting into production.
