System compatibility10GB-4-F01-QSF is Extreme Networks 40G to 4×10G breakout active optical cable. Compatible with Extreme Summit X620, X650, X670, X460-G2, VSP7400 switches supporting QSFP+ ports. It breaks one 40G port into four independent 10G ports for server access. Widely used inside cabinet short-distance fan-out connection and spare replacement.

Function10GB-4-F01-QSF integrates optical transceivers inside the cable assembly. It splits 40G SR4 parallel optical lanes into four separate 10G transmission channels. It supports DDM to monitor transmit optical power, receive power, module temperature and supply voltage. It triggers alarms for optical signal loss, over-temperature or module fault. Used to replace faulty short breakout AOC for 40G to 10G fan-out links.

InstallationPower off before installation. Insert QSFP+ main end into the switch QSFP+ slot. Connect four SFP+ tails to 10G ports on servers or secondary switches. Verify module recognition on ExtremeXOS/VOSS, check optical power and port link status before putting into production.
