FunctionX430-24P is enterprise edge PoE access switch. It supplies PoE+ power for wireless access points, IP cameras and IP phones. It performs Layer2 switching, VLAN, STP/RSTP, QoS traffic scheduling, ACL filtering and basic Layer3 routing. It monitors port link status, PoE power consumption and internal temperature, triggers alarm for port down, PoE overload or over-temperature. Used to replace defective edge PoE switches in enterprise LAN.

InstallationPower off before installation. Mount switch on 19-inch rack. Insert SFP transceivers into uplink slots. Connect AC power, Ethernet cables and console cable. Configure ExtremeXOS, VLAN and PoE profile. Verify port link and network traffic before putting into production.
