Function

NX-5500-100R0-WR is 1U multi-service wireless controller for mid-size enterprise. It centrally manages WiNG wireless access points, handles WLAN SSID policy, user authentication, RF management and roaming. Built-in firewall, IPsec VPN and RADIUS AAA reduce requirement for extra network appliances. 6 gigabit ports connect LAN segments and uplink to core network. SSD storage ensures reliable configuration backup and firmware storage. Widely used for campus, retail chain, hotel and branch office enterprise Wi-Fi deployment.

InstallationFollow ESD protection procedure. Mount appliance on standard 19-inch 1U rack. Connect AC power cord. Plug RJ45 Ethernet cables to LAN / uplink ports. Access serial console for initial WiNG configuration, import AP licenses, define WLAN profiles and security rules. Verify AP discovery and client access after power-up.
