System compatibility

HM-2X24GA is a dual 24-port gigabit line card for modular chassis network switches. It communicates with chassis main control board via backplane bus. Designed for enterprise campus and industrial chassis network port expansion.

Function

HM-2X24GA hot-swappable gigabit line card provides total 48 gigabit copper interfaces, divided into two independent 24-port groups. It connects PCs, printers and other wired terminals to the chassis core switch. Hot swap design allows replacement without powering down the whole chassis, reducing service interruption. It supports VLAN segmentation, QoS traffic scheduling and basic access security control. Widely used for large campus, factory workshop and data center access layer port expansion.

InstallationFollow ESD protection procedure. Insert HM-2X24GA module into empty chassis slot and fasten the screws. Connect RJ45 network cables to front panel ports. Verify module detection status on chassis management CLI. Configure VLAN and QoS rules. Check port link status after installation.
