DAC350 is a full-featured dedicated CNC controller for hydraulic guillotine shearing machines. It works with DELEM DM05 series axis modules, encoders, hydraulic valve modules and Modusys I/O units, supports servo and inverter drive for backgauge, widely used in metal fabrication workshops for controller replacement during sheet metal shear overhaul.

Function

DAC350 serves as the core operation control unit of hydraulic shearing machine. It stores up to 1000 program lines, controls X axis backgauge positioning with retract function. It automatically calculates and adjusts blade gap and cutting angle according to plate thickness and material. It supports ram stroke limitation, workpiece counting and force control. Optional second X axis is available. It monitors machine running status and triggers alarm signals once over-travel or hydraulic faults are detected. It is used to replace damaged controllers when the guillotine shear fails to auto adjust cutting parameters.

Installation

Cut off main power supply before installation. Reserve panel cutout on machine cabinet, mount DAC350 and lock fixing fasteners. Connect 24V DC power, HSB bus, encoder cables, hydraulic valve signal lines and digital I/O terminals. Check wiring definition, upload machine parameters, perform trial cutting test before formal production.
