FunctionThis BDM bus diverter module is used for QUADLOG SIS proprietary safety backplane bus splitting and signal distribution. It extends safety bus to multiple remote racks, realizes power distribution and safety data transmission between main rack and expansion I/O racks. It supports redundant safety bus architecture, ensures reliable communication for safety interlock signals in SIS system.

InstallationPower off the rack chassis before installation. Insert the module into MODULRAC rack slot and lock the latch, ensure backplane connector fully engaged. Connect dedicated safety bus extension cable between BDM and expansion rack backplane. Set rack address via DIP switch, power up and verify safety bus communication and module status after wiring.
