FunctionThis I/O expander board expands the available analog and digital input/output channels of Moore 353 process controller. It increases the quantity of 4-20mA analog signals, digital inputs and relay outputs supported by the controller. It is used for expanding multi-loop PID control, additional alarm points and interlock signals, supports extra field instrument connection without adding another controller unit.

InstallationCut off controller power before installation. Open the 353 controller housing, insert the expander board into the internal dedicated connector, secure the board mounting clips. Complete wiring of extended I/O terminals. Configure expanded I/O points via controller firmware, verify channel reading and output action after power on.
