Module Feature

Sanyo Denki PQM0PA27000 belongs to PQM series high-power digital AC servo amplifier. It adopts advanced vector control algorithm, supports position, speed and torque three control modes. Equipped with RS485 serial communication interface for parameter configuration and status monitoring. Built-in multiple protection functions including overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overload, overheat and encoder error protection. Compact rack mount structure, strong anti-interference capability. Widely used for heavy-load high-torque motion axes in semiconductor equipment, machine tools and large automation production lines.

Working principle

The main power circuit converts AC input power into DC bus voltage, and the IGBT power module outputs variable frequency three-phase AC power to drive the matched servo motor. The drive receives motion commands from upper controller, collects motor encoder feedback signal, and performs high-speed closed-loop calculation to adjust output torque, speed and position. When fault conditions are detected, the drive will immediately cut off power output and trigger alarm to protect motor and peripheral mechanical equipment.

Onboard components

IGBT power module, main control CPU board, encoder signal processing circuit, RS485 communication circuit, switching power supply unit, current sampling sensor, fault detection circuit, terminal block.

LED indicators

Built-in status LED indicators, display power status, servo ready, alarm and fault codes.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off all power supply completely. Mount the amplifier on control cabinet panel, leave enough ventilation space. Wire power cable, motor cable, encoder cable and communication cable correctly. Set servo parameters via SANMOTION software, perform trial run and positioning test before formal operation.

Diagnostic

No power indicator: No input AC power or fuse blown. Servo not ready: Wiring error, emergency stop activated or internal hardware fault.
