Module Feature

OptiMate 31670-BMS-004D is dual-chemistry automatic battery maintainer. It can automatically identify battery type and switch charging profile, compatible with 12V lead-acid batteries (AGM, STD, GEL) and 12.8V/13.2V LiFePO4 lithium batteries. Equipped with low-voltage rescue charging function to recover deeply discharged batteries. Built-in BMS protection logic, multi-stage charging cycle, automatically switch to float maintenance after full charge. Waterproof outer casing, suitable for cabinet installation. Widely used for backup battery maintenance in semiconductor wet bench and chemical delivery control cabinet.

Working principle: The charger detects battery voltage and internal state at startup, selects corresponding charging curve. Execute bulk charge, absorption charge and float maintenance sequentially. Once battery reaches full voltage, it enters low-current maintenance mode, compensates self-discharge. If battery voltage drops below threshold, it restarts charging cycle. Multiple safety protections stop charging on overvoltage, overheat or reverse connection. Wrong battery type selection, reverse wiring or overheating will trigger protection and stop charging. It is backup battery maintenance accessory for wet bench automation control cabinet.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Disconnect battery before wiring. Connect charger output to battery terminals, connect AC power input. Verify LED status, confirm charging cycle runs normally.

Diagnostic

No charging:AC power missing or reverse polarity connection. Cannot fully charge:Battery aging or internal short. Fault LED on:Overheat, overvoltage or damaged battery cell. Intermittent charge:Cable loose or poor terminal contact.
