It receives triplicated safety control commands from expander processor,converts digital safety signals into analog control signals to drive field control valves and positioners. Function

T8444 serves as high integrity 4-channel analog output unit of Trusted TMR SIS. It executes TMR 2oo3 hardware voting logic to generate stable 4-20mA or 0-10V analog output for final control elements. Each channel continuously monitors output loop status,short circuit and open circuit faults. It supports hot swap replacement without powering down the safety expansion rack.

Installation

Insert T8444 vertically into dedicated I/O slot of T8300/T8314 expander chassis. Wire field valve positioner cables to terminal assembly. Verify output value and fault alarms via Trusted Workbench engineering software.
