Module Feature

ICM-1100 is an industrial multi-protocol communication module. It supports conversion between multiple mainstream industrial bus protocols, realizes data exchange between different brand PLC, DCS controllers and field sensors. Isolated circuit design protects internal circuit from surge and electromagnetic interference on industrial site. It adopts compact plug-in structure, convenient to install and maintain in control cabinet. Built-in watchdog chip ensures stable operation for long-term continuous working. Widely applied in factory automation, building control, SCADA monitoring and other industrial data interconnection scenarios.

Working principle

The module receives data frames from the field bus side, parses the communication protocol, converts data format and address mapping, then transmits the processed data to another bus port. The isolation circuit separates the field side and control side electrical signals to suppress ground loop interference. Watchdog circuit automatically resets the module when program abnormality occurs to guarantee communication recovery.

Installation

Follow ESD protection procedure before operation. Snap module onto DIN rail inside control cabinet. Wire power supply and bus cables to corresponding terminals. Complete protocol and data mapping configuration via PC software before commissioning.

Diagnostic

No communication: wrong protocol parameter, bus wiring error or terminal resistor missing. Intermittent data loss: strong electromagnetic interference or unstable power supply. Module no boot: 24VDC power abnormality.
