Module Feature

GQ2412-B6613-612 belongs to Galtronics canister antenna series. It is a 2-inch pseudo omni concealed cylinder antenna designed for outdoor distributed antenna systems and small cell deployment. It supports multiple communication frequency bands including 698-896MHz,1695-2360MHz,3550-3700MHz and 5150-5925MHz. Equipped with 12 pieces of 4.3-10 female RF ports for multi-channel signal input and output. The brown cylindrical shell has weatherproof structure, and the package includes MK06761 installation bracket for pole mounting. The antenna features stable horizontal radiation pattern, low passive intermodulation performance, suitable for cellular wireless signal coverage projects.

Working principle

The antenna internal array elements convert RF electrical signals into electromagnetic waves and radiate outward in pseudo omni coverage mode. It receives over-the-air radio signals and converts electromagnetic waves back into RF electrical signals and transmits to DAS or small cell equipment. The multi-port independent antenna array realizes separated transceiving signal distribution for different frequency bands.

Installation

Use the matched MK06761 mounting kit to fix antenna firmly on outdoor pole. Keep vertical installation orientation. Connect RF feeder cable to each 4.3-10 female connector, tighten connector torque as datasheet requirement. Check waterproof sealing of all joints after installation.

Diagnostic

Poor wireless coverage: antenna installation angle deviation or feeder cable damage. High VSWR: loose RF connector, water ingress or internal feeder failure. PIM alarm: connector contamination or metal contact corrosion.
