Products Description
22D11G25A General Electric Solenoid Coil Unit

Module Feature
22D11G25A is a General Electric cylindrical DC solenoid control coil, designed as the electromagnetic driving component for GE series contactors and motor starters. When DC voltage is applied, the coil generates magnetic force to pull the movable iron core, realizing mechanical switching of the contactor main contacts. It adopts high-temperature resistant enameled wire winding, stable magnetic performance and strong anti-vibration capability, suitable for long-term continuous operation in industrial control cabinets. This model is a discontinued original GE spare part, widely applied in motor control circuits, power distribution systems and heavy industry motor starter equipment.
Working principle
After applying 230~250VDC control voltage to the coil terminals, current flows through enameled winding to produce electromagnetic field. The magnetic attraction drives the movable armature to move, which mechanically pushes the contactor contact assembly to close or open. When the control power is cut off, magnetic force disappears, and spring resets the armature to restore the original contact state.
Onboard components
Enameled copper winding, cylindrical coil bobbin, insulation encapsulation material, magnetic core assembly, two control terminal lugs, outer protective housing.
LED indicators
No LED indicators.
Hardware self-diagnosis
Winding open circuit, winding short circuit, insulation breakdown, coil overheating detection, resistance measurement for coil health inspection.
Programming software
No configuration software required.
