Installation

Follow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch into standard 19-inch rack. Install matched AC/DC power supply and fan tray. Insert SFP / SFP+ transceivers or DAC/AOC cables. Use Cat5e/Cat6 copper cables for RJ45 terminals. Access serial console port for initial ExtremeXOS configuration, set VLAN, stacking, routing and QoS policy. Verify port connectivity status after power-up.
