Function

X450-G2-48T-GE is high-performance 48-port gigabit switch manufactured by Extreme Networks. 48 gigabit copper ports connect desktop terminals, IP phones and wireless access points. Four SFP gigabit fiber uplink slots provide stable long-distance connection to core/aggregation switches. Two rear 21G stacking ports combine multiple X450-G2 switches into a single logical device for unified management. Installation

Follow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch into standard 19-inch rack. Insert 1G SFP transceivers and fiber patch cables. Connect AC power cord. Access console port for initial ExtremeXOS configuration, VLAN, ACL and stacking setup. Verify port link and stack status after power-up.
