InstallationMount the unit on rack, wall or desktop. Connect AC power cord; external redundant power supply is optional. Insert SFP transceiver and fiber cable for uplink if needed. Connect Cat5e/Cat6 cables to PoE RJ45 ports. Connect serial console port for EOS configuration. Verify boot sequence, port link and PoE status before putting into production.
