Function7G4270-12 is a high-performance distributed forwarding engine line card for Matrix N-series chassis. It provides 12 gigabit SFP fiber interfaces and independent packet forwarding. It supports static/dynamic routing, VLAN segmentation, STP/MSTP, LACP, ACL, QoS, multicast and flow-based traffic policing. It monitors port link status, transceiver DDM optical parameters, module temperature and power consumption, and reports health status to the chassis supervisor.
