Function40GB-F25-QSFP integrates parallel optical transceivers and multimode fiber inside one cable assembly. It converts four 10G electrical lanes into parallel optical signals for 40G transmission. It supports DDM to monitor transmit optical power, receive power, module temperature and supply voltage. It triggers alarms for optical signal loss, over-temperature or module hardware fault. Used to replace faulty 40G AOC cables for long-range 40G fabric links.

InstallationPower off before installation. Insert both QSFP+ ends into the QSFP+ slots of two switches. Lock the latches. Verify module recognition on ExtremeXOS/VOSS, check optical power and port link status before putting into production.
