DM51 is a high-performance multi-axis motion control module of DELEM Modusys system. It communicates with DELEM DA series CNC controllers via HSB fieldbus, matches linear encoders and hydraulic proportional valves, widely used for electro-hydraulic synchronous press brake renovation and spare replacement in sheet metal workshops.

Function

DM51 executes real-time closed-loop motion calculation for bending axes. It receives position signals from linear encoders, computes position deviation and outputs analog control signals to hydraulic proportional valves to control ram synchronization. It supports Y1,Y2,X,R multi-axis control and crowning compensation signal output. It continuously monitors encoder signal quality, power supply and bus status, and sends fault alarm messages to the main controller when signal loss or axis deviation occurs. It is used to replace faulty axis modules when the electro-hydraulic press brake loses multi-axis synchronous bending control.

Installation

Cut off main power supply before installation. Mount DM51 on DIN rail inside electrical cabinet and lock the module. Connect 24V DC power, HSB bus cable, encoder cables and hydraulic valve signal terminals. Check wiring definition, download machine parameters, perform axis reference homing and test run before formal bending production.
