Products Description
Cummins 7A1539-126 Diesel Fuel Injector Unit

Module Feature
7A1539-126 is Cummins heavy-duty mechanical fuel injector assembly. It adopts alloy steel nozzle core and precision grinding needle valve structure, which can realize high-pressure fuel atomization.
It controls fuel injection timing and injection volume according to camshaft drive, ensuring uniform fuel-air mixing and stable engine combustion. It has good anti-coking performance, suitable for continuous operation of generator set and industrial power engine.
Working principle
High-pressure fuel oil enters the injector body through fuel inlet passage. When the fuel pressure exceeds the opening pressure of needle valve, the needle valve lifts up, and fuel is sprayed into combustion chamber in fine mist shape through nozzle holes.
After pressure drops, the needle valve resets and cuts off fuel injection. The atomized fuel mixes with air and burns to release heat energy and push piston movement.
Onboard components
Injector body, needle valve and nozzle assembly, pressure adjusting shim, spring, fuel inlet connector, leak-off return port, sealing washer.
LED indicators
No built-in indicator lamp. Abnormal combustion status is displayed on engine controller panel.
Hardware self‑diagnosis
The injector itself has no electronic self-diagnosis. ECU judges injector anomaly through engine speed fluctuation, exhaust temperature deviation and exhaust smoke signal.
Programming software
Cummins INSITE software for engine running data monitoring and fault code reading.
