The internal piezoelectric sensing element converts mechanical vibration acceleration signal into electrical signal, after built-in amplification and filtering, outputs 4-20mA analog signal proportional to vibration velocity. Compact stainless steel housing, threaded mounting base, integrated cable or flying lead option. It is widely used for centrifugal pumps, fans, blowers and gearboxes vibration condition monitoring, signal access to DCS, PLC or local vibration monitor. Widely stocked as maintenance spare for power plant, refinery and water treatment rotating equipment skid.

Working principle

When equipment vibrates, the piezoelectric crystal inside accelerometer generates tiny charge signal.

The on-board conditioning circuit amplifies, filters and converts the vibration signal into standard 4-20mA current signal. 4mA corresponds to zero vibration, 20mA corresponds to full scale vibration value. The signal transmits to the control system through two-wire loop cable, and the loop also provides working power for the sensor.

Installation

Clean equipment mounting surface before installation.

Torque sensor to specified value, wire two-wire 4-20mA loop, confirm loop power polarity, test vibration reading and alarm threshold after commissioning.

Diagnostic
