Products Description
Airbus 34900008-2 Fire Extinguisher Bottle Unit

Module Feature
34900008-2 is a pressurized fire extinguisher cylinder for Airbus A340-642 aircraft fire protection system.
It is a sealed pressure vessel filled with aviation fire suppression agent, equipped with burst disc, discharge valve and pressure monitoring interface. It releases extinguishing agent rapidly when triggered by the fire control circuit. It belongs to ATA Chapter 26 fire protection components, follows aerospace airworthiness standards, and is used for aircraft engine bay or cargo compartment fire suppression.
Working principle
When the fire control system sends out a discharge signal, the firing pin breaks the burst disc inside the valve assembly.
The internal pressure pushes the fire suppression agent out through the discharge pipeline to the protected fire zone. Once discharged, the bottle must be replaced and refilled by an approved overhaul station.
Onboard components
High strength alloy pressure cylinder, fire suppression agent, safety burst disc, discharge valve assembly, pressure indicator port, mounting lugs.
LED indicators
No built-in LED. Pressure status and discharge state are monitored by aircraft fire control panel and pressure indicator.
Hardware self‑diagnosis
No built-in self-diagnosis circuit. Regular hydrostatic pressure test and visual inspection are required to check cylinder corrosion, deformation and leakage.
Programming software
No supporting configuration software.
