125A-5POL-6PH CEE Industrial Power Connector Unit

Module Feature

125A-5POL-6PH follows IEC 60309-2 international industrial power connector standard. 5POL means 5 poles (3 phase + neutral + protective earth), 6PH means earth pin clock position 6 o’clock, red color for 400V three-phase power.

It adopts high impact PA6 nylon housing, nickel-plated brass contact, built-in sealing gasket and twist-lock bayonet locking structure. After locking, it reaches IP67 protection, dust-proof and water immersion resistant. Suitable for temporary power distribution, construction site, port, mining equipment, large mobile machinery power connection. Many brands such as Mennekes, Walther, PCE have this specification product.

Working principle

It realizes fast pluggable power connection for three-phase power circuit. The protective earth contact engages first and disconnects last during plugging/unplugging, to guarantee grounding safety. The twist locking prevents accidental pulling out under vibration. When the connector is unlocked or not fully engaged, the protection level fails.

Installation

Select plug or socket version according to wiring plan, strip cable and fasten wires to terminal with specified torque. Tighten cable gland for strain relief, fully rotate locking ring until locked. Do not plug or unplug under live load as much as possible.

InterfaceScrew cable terminals, bayonet twist locking interface.

Diagnostic

Heat on contact surface: Terminal loose, insufficient tightening torque, contact oxidation. Water ingress inside connector: Seal damaged, not fully locked. Cannot lock: Foreign debris in bayonet groove, mechanism deformation. Intermittent power loss: Locking ring loose, vibration induced separation.
