System compatibilityQLRTMBAN belongs to Siemens Moore QUADLOG SIS series. It works with QLCCM safety controller and matched marshalling termination boards, dedicated for RTD temperature signal collection in QUADLOG safety instrumented system, compatible with APACS+ DCS platform.

FunctionThis RTM resistance temperature module acquires temperature signals from field RTD sensors. It converts resistance variation of RTD probes into digital temperature values and transmits data to QUADLOG safety controller via backplane bus. It is used for safety-related temperature measurement, supports per-channel line fault detection, wire break and short circuit diagnosis, provides temperature data for safety interlock and ESD protection judgment.

InstallationPower off the rack chassis before installation. Insert the module into designated rack slot and lock the front latch. Connect ribbon cable between module and marshalling termination assembly, wire field RTD temperature sensors to terminal assembly. Configure sensor type and safety parameters via QUADLOG engineering software after power on, complete SIF loop test before online operation.
