System compatibilityBW200-003 is SEW BW flat series braking resistor. Compatible with MOVIDRIVE MDX60B, MDX61B servo drives and MOVITRAC B low-power inverters. Widely used for miniature conveyor and small packaging machinery, legacy SEW low power drive system maintenance and spare replacement.

FunctionThis flat aluminum housed braking resistor consumes regenerative energy generated by motor deceleration. When DC bus voltage rises, the drive internal brake chopper activates and releases excess energy through this resistor to suppress overvoltage fault. Equipped with 1.5 meter pre-connected cable for fast wiring. Requires external thermal protection relay.

InstallationPower off the drive DC bus before installation. Mount BW200-003 on flat mounting surface, keep enough air circulation. Separate high voltage braking cables and low voltage control wiring. Connect pre-wired cable terminals to drive brake port X3 (+R/-R). Install external thermal relay for overheat monitoring. Test braking function after wiring.
