Module Feature

Sanyo Denki PZ0A050AMD1S00 belongs to SANMOTION PZ series compact digital AC servo amplifier. AC200V single/three phase input, rated capacity 0.5kW. It adopts current and speed dual closed-loop vector control algorithm, featuring quick response and excellent low speed stability. Supports position, speed, torque three control modes, can receive pulse train and analog command signals. Built-in comprehensive protection functions including overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheat, overload, encoder fault and emergency stop protection. DIN rail mounting design, small footprint, convenient for cabinet installation and maintenance. Widely used for light load precision motion axis in semiconductor wet bench and chemical delivery automation equipment.

Working principle

The upper motion controller transmits motion instructions to this servo amplifier. The drive converts AC200V input power into three-phase variable frequency AC power to drive matched SANMOTION series servo motors. Encoder feeds back real-time rotor position and speed signal to amplifier, high speed digital closed-loop calculation adjusts output current to realize precise torque, speed and position control. When fault detected, the amplifier will cut off power output immediately and trigger alarm signal.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Power off the whole servo system completely. Mount servo amplifier on DIN rail and reserve enough heat dissipation clearance. Wire AC power cable, motor power cable and encoder feedback cable. Connect control signal and emergency stop circuit. Configure servo parameters via SANMOTION software, perform axis jog test and positioning verification before formal operation.
