Module Feature

MLP-A-SC1100-SEP-SS belongs to Pulsafeeder MLP series hydraulic diaphragm metering pump. It adopts hydraulically actuated PTFE diaphragm, separating hydraulic oil and process media completely, eliminating packing gland leakage risk. This model is equipped with 316 stainless steel wetted liquid end, suitable for water treatment chemicals, mild corrosive liquids. Manual stroke adjustment from 0% to 100% to change dosing volume. It has built-in relief valve, bleed valve and check valve assembly. Compact structure, stable metering accuracy, low maintenance demand. Widely used in municipal water, wastewater, power plant and industrial circulating water chemical dosing system.

Working principle

Motor drives gear and eccentric plunger assembly to reciprocate. Plunger pressurizes hydraulic oil, pushing the PTFE diaphragm to displace process liquid. Suction and discharge ball check valves control unidirectional flow. Stroke adjustment changes the plunger travel distance to adjust the per-stroke delivery volume. Internal relief valve provides overpressure protection for the liquid end.

Drive motor, gear reduction unit, eccentric plunger, hydraulic oil cavity, PTFE diaphragm, 316SS manifold, suction & discharge check valves, stroke adjustment handwheel, relief and bleed valve.

Installation

Shut down chemical pipeline and relieve pressure before operation. Secure Pulsafeeder MLP-A-SC1100-SEP-SS pump on rigid mounting base. Connect suction supply line and discharge injection line, install pulsation dampener and backpressure valve if required. Prime pump and calibrate stroke setting.

Interface

Suction port, discharge port, bleed port, AC power terminals.

Diagnostic

No dosing output: air lock inside pump head or suction strainer blocked. Flow unstable: insufficient backpressure or worn check balls. Diaphragm failure: chemical contaminates hydraulic oil.
