Module Feature

P54691NH7M0760M is smart HART pressure transmitter for industrial process application.

It integrates high precision pressure sensing diaphragm, supports 4-20mA analog signal and HART digital communication for remote configuration and diagnostic. Wetted material is stainless steel for compatibility with general process fluid. It adopts explosion-proof housing suitable for hazardous area installation, local LCD display for on-site pressure reading and parameter checking. It is widely stocked as maintenance spare for chemical plant, natural gas pipeline and refinery instrument skid.

Working principle

Process pressure acts on internal sensing diaphragm.

The sensing element converts pressure variation into millivolt electrical signal, signal conditioning circuit amplifies and compensates temperature drift, then outputs 4-20mA standard analog signal and HART digital signal to DCS or SCADA system. It stores calibration data and sensor temperature compensation coefficient inside non-volatile memory, continuously monitors sensor health and loop status.

Onboard components

Pressure sensing diaphragm, signal conditioning PCB, HART communication chip, LCD display module, power regulation circuit, non-volatile calibration memory, terminal block and explosion-proof metal housing.

LED indicators

Local LCD screen displays measured pressure value, percentage range and fault code. Built-in status LED indicates power and communication activity.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Built-in supervision detects sensor over-range, loop open/short, power undervoltage, internal electronics fault and HART communication timeout. Calibration and parameter setting are completed by HART handheld communicator or dedicated instrument configuration software.

Programming software

HART universal instrument commissioning tool, used for range setup, pressure trim, damping adjustment, tag assignment and fault log reading.

Installation

Isolate instrument loop power and process pressure before replacement.

Check process thread sealing, 24VDC loop wiring and HART communication wiring, set pressure range and damping parameter, test pressure response and remote data upload after commissioning.

Interface

Process threaded connection, two-wire signal/power terminal for 4-20mA and HART.

Diagnostic

Fixed high/low output: Sensing diaphragm damage, loop short or wrong zero calibration. No communication: Loop resistor missing, wiring polarity reversed or transmitter fault. Signal drift: Diaphragm corrosion, temperature compensation failure or mounting stress.
