Function

T8170C is the high integrity upgraded embedded gateway unit of Trusted TMR SIS. It runs OPC DA & A&E server for upper monitoring system access to safety controller data. It adopts non-interfering architecture and will not affect core safety logic execution of TMR processor. It continuously runs self-diagnosis to detect ethernet link break,storage fault and communication abnormality in real time. Dual redundant Ethernet design prevents communication interruption caused by single link failure,with expanded local event archive capacity.

Installation

Insert the module vertically into dedicated gateway slot of T8100 Trusted SIS rack. Install T8173 gateway peripheral adapter,complete ethernet cable wiring and backplane bus connection,verify gateway running status and fault diagnosis via Trusted Workbench engineering software.
