Function

T8160 serves as the high integrity Regent I/O gateway unit of Trusted TMR SIS. It executes bidirectional safety data transmission between Trusted CPU and Regent I/O modules. It continuously runs per-channel self-diagnosis to detect bus disconnection,signal transmission error and remote I/O hardware fault in real time. Its TMR voting design ensures reliable safety signal transmission even with single internal channel failure.

Installation

Insert the module vertically into dedicated interface slot of T8100 Trusted SIS rack. Complete Regent I/O bus wiring and backplane bus connection,verify gateway communication status and fault diagnosis via Trusted Workbench engineering software.
