Module Feature

Fisher IC-2000 is a dedicated step motor interface module for Fisher electric valve actuators. It receives analog control signal and converts signal to drive commands for stepper motor. It provides closed-loop stroke position feedback, over-travel protection and motor fault monitoring. Modular cabinet mounting design, easy integration with DCS control system. Function

IC-2000 is stepper motor interface module manufactured by Fisher. It converts 4-20mA control signal into pulse sequence to drive valve step motor, realizes precise linear or rotary valve stroke adjustment. It continuously reads valve actual position and compares with setpoint to correct motor movement. It provides protection functions including over travel, motor overload and position loss alarm. It is core control unit for Fisher electric modulating valve actuators.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off power supply. Mount IC-2000 module inside control cabinet. Wire power cable, 4-20mA control signal cable and motor feedback cable. Configure valve stroke parameters, perform auto calibration and full stroke test. Restore power and verify valve position control and fault alarm function.
