Function

DVC6010FS is smart digital valve controller manufactured by Fisher. It precisely controls valve stroke according to 4-20mA HART command. It monitors forward/reflected air pressure, valve travel and actuator health continuously. It supports online valve diagnostic, partial stroke test and remote parameter setup. FS version improves corrosion resistance for coastal and corrosive gas site. It reduces valve maintenance downtime.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off instrument air and electric power. Mount positioner on valve actuator, connect instrument air tubing and HART signal cable. Run auto calibration and full stroke test. Restore power and air supply, run valve function and alarm inspection.

Interface

1/4"NPT pneumatic ports, 1/2"NPT electrical conduit port, two-wire HART signal terminals on DVC6010FS.

Diagnostic

No valve movement: Safety interlock active or loss of 4-20mA signal. Position deviation: Position sensor drift or calibration lost. High air consumption: Internal pneumatic relay wear.
