Installation

Follow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch to standard 19-inch 1U rack. Connect AC power cord. Insert SFP / SFP+ transceivers for fiber connections. Access serial console port for initial ExtremeXOS configuration, set VLAN, stacking, routing and QoS policy. Purchase and activate 10G license if 10G uplink required. Verify port connectivity and stack status after power-up.
