Function

X440-G2-24t-GE4 is 1U gigabit non-PoE access switch for enterprise and industrial edge. 24×1G copper ports connect desktop PCs, printers and non-powered network terminals. Four dedicated 1G SFP slots provide fiber uplink to aggregation/core switch. Supports IPv4/IPv6 routing, 802.1X access authentication, VLAN segmentation and hardware QoS for voice/video traffic. Wide temperature capability makes it fit for non-air-conditioned equipment rooms. External redundant power connector improves network reliability. Widely deployed for factory workshop, school and office gigabit wired access spare replacement.

InstallationFollow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch to standard 19-inch 1U rack. Connect AC power cord. Install external redundant PSU if required. Insert 1G SFP transceivers for fiber uplink. Access serial console port for initial ExtremeXOS configuration, set VLAN, ACL and QoS policy. Verify port connectivity after power-up.
