FunctionX670-48x is non-blocking wire-speed Layer3 10G fiber switch. 48 SFP+ ports connect to servers or downstream access switches; rear VIM4 module provides 40G high-speed uplink or stacking. It supports static & dynamic routing,DCB(PFC/ETS/DCBX),VLAN,STP/RSTP/MSTP,LACP/MLAG,ACL,QoS and multicast routing. It monitors optical module DDM,port link status,module temperature,power and fan health, and sends hardware fault alarms. Used for data center core and large campus core networks.

InstallationMount the switch on standard 19-inch 1U rack. Install hot-swappable PSU and three fan modules. Insert SFP/SFP+ transceivers and fiber patch cords. Install VIM4 40G uplink module as required. Connect console port for ExtremeXOS configuration. Verify boot,port optical link and stacking function before commissioning.
