Installation

Follow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch to standard 19-inch 1U rack. Connect AC power cord. Install EPS-C or EPS-600LS external PoE PSU if full PoE capacity required. Insert SFP transceiver for fiber uplink or install XGM2 10G option card for high-speed uplink. Deploy SummitStack cable for multi-unit stacking. Access serial console port for initial ExtremeXOS configuration, set VLAN, ACL and QoS policy. Verify stack synchronization and port connectivity after power-up.
